Psycho

Psycho displayed the horror genre using the suspenseful music, and the shocking murder scenes. I thought that the murder of Marion was especially shocking because she was just showering and then all of a sudden she’s stabbed like 30 times. The director made sure this scene was shot from many different angles as she was being murdered which added to the shock. Some of the major themes of this film are the specific music selections that happen right before a character is killed, a psychopathic murderer, and almost like a haunted house type of theme considering that the murderer’s mother was supposed to be dead but people kept seeing her in the house.
